A fused thought counts as one. Every origin is preserved.
Technical ceiling per Text-Reuse run: 10,000 words. Longer works are checked chapter by chapter; the monthly volume is unaffected.
Longer texts and demanding checks use more capacity than short questions. That is why NotaVera does not simply count clicks. The server works it out from the real job: how much text goes in, how much comes back, how expensive the tool is. A run that fails costs nothing.
Three holdings keep growing once a piece of work is handed in. All three are in the product today.
Every source you have taken in and checked stays in your library with its provenance and revisions. On the next text, the checking is already done.
The atlas belongs to your account, not to one document. A thought from your thesis finds the related thought from an essay two years later, and a contradiction between them becomes visible.
Every run is written down: which claims were checked, which of them carried a confirmed source. The margin of the editor turns that into the development of your evidence coverage.
No. NotaVera detects claims that need evidence, looks for sources, checks them and pushes back. It does not formulate your thesis and writes no paragraphs for you. Suggested narrower wording enters your text only when you accept it.
Your institution decides that, not us. NotaVera produces no text you could pass off as your own; it examines yours. Examination rules and guidance differ, so ask your supervisor or examination office. We make no promise about permissibility.
Only what exists in OpenAlex or Crossref is cited. A DOI is marked verified only after it resolves against Crossref; until then the source stands as a candidate and is labelled as one. If nothing holds, NotaVera says “no match” instead of inventing a source.
Your content stays yours. After cancelling or changing plan you can still read, edit and export everything you produced. A lower plan limits new processing only, never access to what already exists.
